1966 - Revolver
The Beatles 7th album, Revolver, was a big artistic leap forward for the band. It included songs that were absolutely unimaginable just two years previous (It's amazing that they went from "I Want To Hold Your Hand" to "Tomorrow Never Knows" in just two years.) The album includes some of The Beatles greatest songs such as "Eleanor Rigby," "Got To Get You Into My Life," "Here, There, & Everywhere," "I'm Only Sleeping," "Taxman," & "She Said She Said." Really I should just list every song on the album, that's how good it is.
